The
Church Army has been at the heart of evangelism since it was founded
by Prebendary Wilson Carlile in 1882. The aim was to be pioneers,
taking the Good News of Jesus Christ to all, but particularly
to those on the margins of society and making the message of the
Gospel challenging and relevant to an ever changing world.
Our
Purpose
Church
Army is a Society of Evangelists within the Anglican Communion,
which exists to enable people to come to a living faith in Jesus
Christ.
